Hi Brad, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I could be the luckiest man alive as I’ve had 2 fulfilling careers. I worked in advertising and marketing for about 20 years in Fort Worth, New York City, Houston and Kansas City. My second career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist started inauspiciously with divorce, job loss and the decision to quit drinking. That path led me to Missouri, Kansas and finally back to Texas and my hometown of Fort Worth.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve been lucky, blessed and fortunate to have bounced back better in my career, my health (2 time survivor of Prostate Cancer) and in my marriage to my amazing wife Grace. Learning in the therapy world about subjective wellbeing has assisted me tremendously.
